Headmasters was founded 8 years ago based on the needs of the community, professional families / retirees, there was a need to provide services to those new transplants! Services within the hairdressing industry that they where accustom to, an expected level of service.

  • Jason Hall

    Owner and master Stylist, Jason has had the pleasure of working internationally, representing global manufacturers in Africa and across Europe. Returning to North America he was employed by Aveda where he worked within in tri-state area, educating, supporting Lifestyle Stores and training Aveda’s hair, skin and make-up educators! SuddzzFX captured his attention and he relocated to Southern California taking on the responsibly of research and development and launching new products to 17 distributors across North America, as well as overseeing all corporate educational needs. Today, a single parent and business owner he is directing his attention to his clients, delivering and meeting their expectations and looking towards the future!

  • Miranda Gillard

    Completing both her certifications in hairdresser and as a nail technician, Miranda has been sharing her professional knowledge for over 30 years, and has always considered Vancouver Island her home where she has worked and raised her family. Working locally Miranda shared and built her clientele. In 2016 Miranda took the leap and opened her own salon, where she continued to grow and shared her talents with the residence’s of Parksville and Qualicum. Joining Headmasters in 2021 Miranda has been a welcome addition and her enthusiasm and excitement for the industry has inspired all of us!

  • Amanda Living

    Completing her hairdressing license in Alberta, Amanda worked and traveled enjoying her passion until she settled in the lower mainland, where she purchased a salon. After starting a family, Amanda sold her successful business so that she could focus in raising her family. Staying close to her hairdressing roots, Amanda still honed her hairdressing skills working part time. Relocating to Vancouver Island over 8 years ago Amanda has never drifted far from her true passion, hairdressing! Working part time with Headmasters and supporting our local senior, a truly commendable journey! Amanda loves being with the crew at Headmasters and feels she has found her home for hair.

  • Tracy Renwick

    Tracy has been hairdressing for over 40 years, earning her title as a master stylist! always continuing her education through attending educational events and seminars in cutting, coloring and texture with global manufacturers. Tracy has a strong presence within the Paul Mitchell community where she shares her knowledge with younger hairdressers, helping to provide guidance and an understanding of navigating this ever changing industry. Tracy’s main focus is “client care”, hearing what her clients wants and needs are, understanding and delivering on the clients expectations.
